Default carb to fuel injection

I have a 1985 gt setup for carb. I want to put in a 5.0 fi w/maf. I have a complete 91 harness. But how do i tie that into the 1985 dash harness. I dont want to to use the 91 dash. I want to stay with 85 dash. My only thought was to find a 86 efi dash harness and adapt from their. Any thoughts anyone.

I'm not much of a help on this but...

I don't think it's odd at all. I had intentions of replacing my motor with a fuel injected motor for years. I had been watching guys in my area throw superchargers on their cars and there were no under hood applications available for the carbed version.
I had the complete motor sitting in my garage for years. Unfortunately I never got around to it (kids, house etc...) and just sold it to some guy in PA.

What's your reason for switching? If it's to add a supercharger, Paxton has updated their carb version for 85 GT's.
