i think the cap is venting fine-
because I bought a new motorcraft gas cap-a few weeks ago.
I will try driving with it off none the less.
I will try anything at this point.

I feel like a virgin with a deadline to have sex before HS graduation.
Its rough guys.

My fuel economy has also dropped to 16-18 mpg range.
I used to get 22.8mpg on the highway prior to the head gasket.

seafoam added to crank and gas tank-no difference.

I have noticed this.
The unstead idle.
flat spots.
and loss of overall power...
...DOES NOT OCCUR UNDER COLD ENGINE DRIVING.

I drove car before it warmed up, from a 40 degree morning, and it seemed to have more power than ever-
but after about 5-10 min it had the unsteady idle again-became sluggish under all types of acceleration.
What gives.

Come on guys????????????

Check it thru the range of motion as well. It may have a bad spot in it.
