Default Dissy question

I am ready to get a distributor for my carb conversion. Seems like so many choices The HEI ones on E bay for around 50 bucks are tempting but I want some advise from the experts. I'm on a budget so the High performance stuff is out of the question. Another question, I have a Performer intake, how do you put the PVC system back when you do a conversion ?

I have never used one of those distributors off ebay,so I can not comment on that, best of luck.On the pvc system, put a grommet in valve cover for a PCV valve and hook it to the big Vacuum port on carb, the oil filler cap needs to be filtered somehow so air can get into the engine.

i have used the ebay hei distributor and with my personal experiences it kept blowing ignition modules. i believe they may have been due to my car being wired wrong, as i ordered a fireball ignition module once to replace it and it also blew. But they seem to be decently built, and i believe they came with an iron gear also, which i believe you should change.. just my .02
