Question pvc valve after carb swap

I am wondering after my carb swap can I use my stock valve covers and run the pvc hose from the fitting on the oil fill tube or do I need different valve covers with a breather cap on one side ? Another question about the heater hoses. Looks like one is 5/8 and one is 3/4. Is a 3/4 hose connector screwed in the intake what you guys do ? I read somewhere if you don't have the flow reducer in the heater hose it puts too much pressure on the heater core and makes it fail prematurely. Can that flow reducer be purchased ? The hose on the fuel injection had one in it but unfortunately I tossed it. I think it would be cool if someone posted some carb swap pics. I appreciate any help, thanks

heater cores fail prematurely from electrolysis in the system. put a volt meter in your coolant. if you get a reading above 0.3v, flush the system WELL and add a ground or two to the block, and maybe another to the core.
