Default Non HO cam in a HO motor

Alright, so I got a great deal on the cam and lifter setup, just found out it is a non HO cam, which I know has a different firing order than my 5.0 HO in my Mustang has, but I would hate to get rid of it because it was such a deal. So I am wondering what I will be required to do to run this cam, I know that I will have to change the plug order to compensate for the firing order swap, but what about injector firing order, how would this be compensated for?

you would have to re-wire the injectors. honestly, sell the setup (probably why the last owner pawned it off on you)

Thing is though, i have a HO cam in the car right not, a b303, but I want something more aggressive and this one cam with lifters for 50$ so it was a steal but yeah, im selling it and going with a bigger cam, and this would have been going in a 347 with a single t6 turbo, so I think the stock HO cam would reduce my power from the current setup.

wtf are you talking about??? when you refer to a non h.o cam we think of a stock non h.o roller cam.......now if you have an aftermarket cam that doesn't carry the 351/h.o firing order then that'd make sense, BUT then again with your lack of presented info on the cam , how the "F" do we know what you have??? you have presented us with no specs on the cam all we assumed was it was stock non h.o so therefore if that were the case then that cam would be a step back from an h.o roller cam...see my point???

Sorry for that mix up, its just i figured people would assume but I should have clarified that it was an aftermarket cam that I got a deal on ha, so it is to late, I am going to a cam with the right firing order to avoid any problems, but regardless of that thanks for the help.

B303 has a very narrow powerband. Much better out there for a turbo set-up. Compcams has some good cams.
