not getting fuel to the carb

ok i have a problem with my mustang. sometimes i can get fuel to the carb and other times i cant so im thinking its the fuel filter.

Or the pump, or something clogging the lines.

well the pump is fine its brand new like 1 years old. if the lines were clogged would it give it fuel some times and not others? because i really dont feel like dropping the tank
