Yup,
unbolt the engine and trans
find the correct flexplate
bolt 5.0 to trans with 5.0 motor mounts
replace trans crossmember with a double hump to run dual exhaust
wire up the motor and start her up.....

also pull the instrument cluster and spin the **** under the tach from the 6 to the 8 so it will read the rpms correctly

Its not hard and thats exactly what I did with my 83. Also you don't have a c4, its a c5 (well it should be). Same thing for the most part but there are a couple differences. With the c5 you will need a 164 tooth flexplate.

The engine is called a essex v6 adder.........

The Ford Essex V6 engine was a 90° V6 engine family built by Ford Motor Company at the Essex Engine Plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Unlike the British Essex V6, the Canadian Essex used a 90° V configuration, in addition to having different displacements and valvetrains. With Ford's Essex Engine Plant idled as of November 2007, this engine was succeeded by the Ford Duratec 35.

It be easier and better to pull the motor out with the transmission, just my .02 cents.
