I think I'd use an RPM air-gap intake and a 650 mechanical secondary.
You don't have the cam or heads to be in Vic Jr/750 country..........

bump. 670 street avenger is what I run and i love it, but a 302 with smaller aluminum heads would still be fine with a 600cfm carb
88GT: Fresh 306, Speed Pro pistons, 170 TFS TW Heads, E-303 cam, 1.6 SVO RR, Wieand Stealth Intake, 670 Street Avenger Holley Carb, Full MSD, Rebuilt T-5, Taurus Fan, Hurst/Pro 5.0 Shifter, 3.73s, FRPP Aluminum Drive Shaft, BBK UD Pulleys, PA Perf. 130amp alt., BBK Ceramic LT Headers, BBK OR H-Pipe, Nitto NT555r tires.

i would go with a performer rpm and holley 650 i had that setup and was pretty fast for a stock motor. i ran off on a s/c harley truck with that setup.

i agree with tinman. seems to be pretty easy to tune and good all around performance

i had a coupe that had the same set that you have and i ran a weiand x-celeator and a holley 650 dp. the car went low 12s durring the hot summers in az. its was a great combo.
stock 86 bottom end with 210k, e303 cam, e7 heads with 1.6 rollor rockers, victor 50 intake, 19 lb injectors, kirban adj regulator, 75mm tb, 76 mm air meter, mac cold air, electric fan, stock pressure plate with mcleod disc, 3.73 gears,qa1 kmember w coil overs, stock rear controll arms, and 26x11.50 et streets, 11.56 @ 121 on a 125 shot, 12.65 on motor
new motor gt40p heads,hurricane, carb236,232 and 565,545lift cammotion cam 150 wet kit11.26 @125, on motor 12.17 @ 112

i am very pleased with my Quickfuel 650 DP
1990 lx,gt40 crate engine,ported and polished gt40x heads,30# injectors,kurban fuel pressure reg,cold air tube,e303,griffin3core/blackmagic fan,cobra intake,cc 125 shot wet kit,bbk long tubes/or xpipe w/flows/wc t5 w/hurst short throw/and 3.73's

1990 lx coupe..carbed Quickfuel 650, Lunati cam, rpm upper, msd ignition, bbk shorties xpipe and flows dumped, T5Z transmission with 3.73 gears and a few more goodies....358rwhp and 323ft lbs torque

I pretty much second this. Only I'd use vacuum secondaries. I'm personally a big fan of Holley carbs. I'm going to use one on my 363.
