Ok well for starters i blow the motor in my 1985 mustang before fall now spring is coming up and need to drive my stang again but with a little more power then last year. well i just went and bought a 1984 5.0 h.o motor the guy said i should put a e303 or x303 cam in it now with either one of the cams what rockers will i need and will i have to change out pistons along with this swap also will i need to buy new heads to make this work. i already have bbk headers, all msd coil, module and distrib, torker 289 highrise intake and edlebrock carb. also have underdrive pullys and will get rid of smog pump.

again this is not meant for drag just a street runner with some more power then stock

The only reason you would need to change your piston's is if you decide to bore it out for bigger displacement, or if you went to nitrous. As far as rockers i'd go with a set of full rollers. The less friction you have the better.

There are much better cams than those old letter cams.
Try looking at Trick-Flow satage 1 or maybe something from Comps Cams.
If you have the cash around a set of new heads won't hurt anything either.
