I have an 88 motor with 303 cam and long tube headers. A couple of my plugs have oil deposits on them causing it to misfire, im thinking it could be rings, if it is im goin to get it bored get a rebuild kit, can i reuse my 303 cam and heads and crank or will i need different heads since i got it bored, or will my crank need to be replaced or balanced, i just dont know any advice will be greatly appreciated

You should be able to use everthing just have machine shop to check everything to make sure there in good shape. They might have to do some work on the heads and the crank. Best to get them all checked why you have it a part. You will need new pistons to bore it to 30.

i have an 85 and its a carb. when it got a .30 over bore the owner put edelbrock alumn heads, cam, intake manifold, 650 carb, msd dist/ignition. high tq starter and alternator, alumninum radiator..... if your gonna rebuild and upgrade just save up and do it right once.... why spend a little now and then not happy and a little more later... just do it all at once and have fun...

I think you are going to overbore .030, not.30....
There is no reason the camshaft can't be reused if it's in good shape.
I would think about upgrading from that Ford letter cam as it's somewhat obsolete.
Check out Comps cams for something decent, just remember, you have a 3" stroke engine with that 302 so don't get carried away, it's easy to do....

The overbore will unshroud the valves a little, heads should work better if anything.
BTW, what heads are you using?
