I have an 83 5.0 mustang and the guy at tognottis gave me the wrong timing set. (7811 instead of 7820)

As far as i can tell the one he gave me is designed for roller block. WELL, long story short i need to know if i can clearance this timing set to fit or not? it is rubbing on the plate that holds the cam in.

It also caused the fuel pump ecc. to eat into the timing cover. Does anybody know exactly what years i can get a timing cover from that will fit my 83 because i cannot find a clear answer online.

Go back and get the right parts, that would be the easiest.
