92 5.0 stumbling issues
Alright so I just got this 5.0.
Bored .040 over,hei style dizzy,
Gt40p heads,b303 cam, weiland accelerator intake, holley 4180 carb, headers.
Car starts an idles great but when accelerating has a stumble and almost bogging feel to it. When you first start accelerating you can feel the stumble and hear it through exhaust.
Doesn't do it when you just rev it up when parked.
Any help would be appreciated as I am an EFI guy and not too familiar with carbs.

Check fuel level in the float bowls, fuel should be just at the bottom of the holes.
Maybe go to libary or search online and find 'troubleshooting Holley 4100 series 4 barrell carbs' if you are not familar with them.......

Does your exhaust smell extremely rich? My holly carb I had years ago was always getting out of adjustment from the mixture screws backing out with engine vibration , this would cause it to run rich and become boggy feeling. Also check the operation of the choke, make sure its opening all the way up . And sometimes they just need a good cleaning and rebuild , especially if its been out of service for an extended time.
