Default hid issue

I installed my HID kit and when starting cold the passenger bulb doesn't ignite. If I turn them off and on a second time then they both ignite. What could be causing this? Is it a bad bulb or ballast?

I had this issue too. Unplugging the ballast plug that connects to the harness (connected to battery) and then plugging it back in appears to have fixed it for me. But we'll see since i've only had them for a day.

My issue is that it seems the Passenger side bulb has more of a yellow tinge to it compared to the more blue on the driver side. Using 6000k bulbs.
