There is two options for you...

1. move the ebrake cable slightly...
2. get new shocks in the rear (which will improve the ride and help prevent some of the rubbing).

If you have a 94 with OEM shocks, guaranteed... 100% they are worn and you should get new shocks...

Sincerely,

I am having the same problem with my 94 v6. I have already replaced the shocks and have pulled the springs they are 13 free length (uncut)and 150lbs spring rate. The bushings show there age but shows no excessive signs of wear. With car at ride height there is less then 2" clearance at the pbrake bracket. I looked at both motor mounts and the trans mount look fine also. I am really stumped on this one.

Is this with an aftermarket driveshaft? The car is not lowered? By your description it seems you still have stock springs?

Dont know if anyone is still looking for information on this, but I had this problem with 2 94 GTs the tack welds on the e-brake cable bracket break and the bracket bends down and rubs on the drive shaft when the suspension is loaded. I had it welded back multiple times on my 5-speed, but the auto I just hammered it up out of the way and I dont use the e-brake unless absolutely necessary... If i do use it I have to hammer it back up to get it to quit rubbing.
