what are your suggestions 4 my 07gt

I ve got a weekend driver, might see the track 1-2 times a year for fun, Ive got a cervinies side exhaust kit which severly limits my drop esp in rear. I had the frpp springs but it put my exhaust to low so I swapped to steeda springs. (I do like there products)and like the blue or black suspension colors. I need a better plan for my suspension setup. Car is mostly stock auto ,gears but will have a SC within the year. I live out in the country where most of my driving is on narrower, crested roads, What would be the best thing suspension wise to work towards.? should I stick to the steeda stage paks or should I mix in match. thanks for your help. My clearance right now is 2 3/4 inch. from the pipe to the ground. I ve welded on ss wear plates to save theex pipes. Mytires are 19 295 35 on back 245 40 up front. the only suspension mod so far are the springs and car has 6000 miles on it.

I want to get this right... are you wanting to remove the Steeda springs now? or keep the Steeda springs.... then build onto that?

I want to keep the steeda sport springs and build on this, Even though they are low.

You do not necessarily have to go with any kits, you can install products in stages.

The best thing I'd recommend with your setup would be shocks & struts. A good set of shocks & struts for your Mustang will make a huge difference. The Tokico D-spec shocks & struts are an adjustable setup, and is the most popular set we sell for the 2005-2008 Mustangs. On top of that I'd definitely install some strut mounts. Have you had an alignment yet? Were they able to get the camber back into spec after lowering? If not you may want to look into some strut mounts to help with this. Strut mounts both help align the car, and provide a more solid mount for the front end. It sound slike you do alot of curvy/handling type of driving, rather than drag racing. So you may want to look into swaybars. Swaybars will help reduce body roll, without stiffening up the suspension too much. Check out the Steeda swaybar kit http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...idproduct=1287

I've got the D-specs and Eibach Pro Kit scheduled for installation on Thursday (3 days away) but I didn't get the strut mounts. I don't know the mechanics of the strut assy so can these be installed without having to compress the springs? The reason I ask is to determine wheather I cando it in my driveway or if I'll need to take it it (I know I'll need to take it in anyway for the alignment).

I can answer that I think! You would have to compres the front springs to install the upper strut mounts (do you mean like the steeda upper mounts ?) You could still do this in your driveway, you take the strut off your car and then use a spring compression tool to squeeze the springs usually on to sides then you can take off the nut.
I hope this haelps you. I have done it several times now and it gets quicker each time. taco bill has some great How to for doing some of this stuff.
