Default 07 C/S GT conv handeling ?

I recently purchased an 07 California Special convertable v-8 5 speed with 1500 miles on it. I love the car, but its handling in the corners is not great. in corners if feels like the ass end is loose or floating, this feeling is even more noticeable if the corner has any bumps in it at all. What if anything could be done to eliminate this ? any and all help is appreciated. The car is more or less a daily driver, we never plan to run it on a track, just weekend drives.

Default RE: 07 C/S GT conv handeling ?

There are a few items that will improve overall stability and rear end traction.

1. shocks & struts
2. rear control arms (lower arms and upper 3rd link)
3. rear urethane panhard bar / panhard support

Those I'd put as my top 3 mods to do. The control arms will probably make the most noticeable difference with the exact problem you're experiencing.

Sincerely,
