Default Another lowering springs question

hey guys, i have a 2001 gt with 81,000 miles on it, i was thinking of going with the eibach pro kit...which states it should lower the car about 1.5 inchs, my question is do i need to waittill i can affordshocks and struts,or can i cruise around on the stock one for a while without them blowing out on me or something...also will i for sure need CC plates?

Your stock shocks & struts are completely worn already. So the Eibach Pro-Kits cannot do much more damage.

I would recommend installing aftermarket shocks & struts as soon as possible. Your ride will be very erratic and uncontrolled with the your oem shocks, in the state they're in now.

Sincerely,

Honestly, we've seen the OEM Motorcraft shocks go out as early as 20k miles.
