Default Suspension and shock package for 08 GT daily driver.

I don't drag race my car, but have been heavy on the pedal a few times. I'm not interested in lowering my car very much, but if I did, 1 inch would be plenty. It is a daily driver that I am modding over time (currently in order is a cai and tune)

What should I be looking for to get a more comfortable ride?

Sorry for the delayed response. When the MustangForum.com software was updated, it stopped e-mailing us forum notifications.

If you still want a comfortable ride, and want to do this project "correctly" I would start out with 3 things...

1. Lowering Springs - if you only want to lower 1 inch I'd suggest the Steeda Sport lowering springs. They have been very popular, and keep the drop right around 1 inch. Here is a link... http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=481

2. Shocks & Struts - the best way to lower the car is by installing aftermarket, high quality shocks & struts. This will help dampen the movement of the aftermarket springs, and maintain that good ride quality. http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...idproduct=1416

3. Alignment correction - After lowering the car, your camber may be a bit negative (tires leaning inward). To correct this, I'd suggest installing a set of camber bolts... http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...idproduct=1052

Sincerely,

Just installed the MM Road and Track box. Well worth the investment. Corners and rides like no other Mustang I've been in. You would think it would be a harsh ride, but it's actually smoother but yet more firm than the stock suspension. STRONGLY recommend this kit. I also installed the Eibach sway bars too.

Yeah, usually the Bilsteins in the MM packages really smoothen out the ride. Most do not realize how worn out their OEM shocks are until they put a nice set of Bilsteins on!
