Default C spring on a conv.

Hey,

I've decided I dont want to jack with bumpsteer kits and cc plates, yadda ,yadda, so I'm not installing my super sports. Having said that I do want to lower the car to improve roll and handling. I want to know if the C spring will work on a 98 GT convertible. I know there are G springs but they seem to be more comfort oriented, I want a little better performance. If the G's will improve performance let me know.
I also expect the front of the car to be lower than the back.

Can you please recommend springs that will fill my needs.

Thanks
Shawn

Basically any spring from 79-04 will fit any Mustang... at least dimensionally. There is just subtle differences in spring ratings between the coupe and convertible springs.

Both the C springs or B springs will work on the convertible. The C springs will lower a little less, but provide more performance due to the higher spring rating. The B springs will lower a little more, but provide a more comfortable ride.

Sincerely,
