How about some kick ass wheels in a 17"X10" for the rear of the s197
a 33 lb rim (chrome 20x11) is light compared to the 20"s I run now and the demand for 20"s for this car is high right now as that wheel well is huge! Makes great sense to me and throw these light weight rims on my car and lets race and see who wins...... JMO not trying to hate on the non- 20's crowd as most 20's are for looks and 15's-18's (or real expensive 3 piece 19's) will have less unsprung weight and the car will perform better..... I could care less and love the look of these and the ones on the car as it sits now in the garage.

To the OP thanks for posting weights!

20's are definitely better suited for looks vs performance but they are in high demand. 17's or 18's are definitely better for performance. But from a pure demand standpoint its the 18's that have more demand than 17's so that is why you find 95% of wheel retailers don't even carry a 17 inch for 05+ Mustangs.

I believe "donking" a car is actually raising it up to install rims/tires that do not fit inside the wheel opening of the vehicle

examples..

^^^05 Mustang is correct. Those are Donks. A mustang, charger, mercedes, etc riding on 20"s is not a donk.

Nice hijack j/k! We were hoping to have it in a few days, but not all things go as planned. It will probably be another 7 to 10 days before its on the shelves.

We do not have final pricing yet unfortunately. I can tell you that I do expect it to be upper end as you need to change snout on the supercharger which is a major cost in the kit. If you price a snout yourself from Whipple you will see what I mean. It is an awesome kit especially for the serious racer who intends to road race. This system completely eliminates any possibility of throwing the belt or having belt slip. We have tested this system thoroughly for a better part of the year. It's been rock solid.

These wheels are very light compared to most other 20's on the market.

The black face/machine lip 9.5" Spyder wheel combined with a 275/35/20 will weigh in 3 pounds more than my stock 18" bullitts with the factory 235/50/18s. That is a 5.5% increase in wheel/tire weight per corner.

Will I notice difference in performance? I love the look but do not want to sacrifice a lot of performance.

Wait, what? 3lbs is 5.5% of what? Your stock bullits weigh 55lbs?

Well, I just went from stock 17's ~50lb to 20's at exactly 60lbs. That's a 20% increase. I don't think its slowed me down. It has robbed some MPG's and made my steering heavier though.

Yes, the stock 18" Bullitt wheel weighs 25 lbs and the stock BFGs weigh 30 lbs (Total: 55 lbs).

The Spyder 20 x 9.5 weighs 29 lbs and the 275/35/20 I was looking at weighed 29 lbs (Total: 58 lbs).

3 divided by 55 is a 5.5% increase.

Yeah, I got the math part. I just didn't know the stock 18" were such lead weights.
