125hp wet shot > 125hp dry shot. I made around 107rwhp on a 125 dry shot....I've had friends make more than that with a simple 100hp wet shot. They actually make more power to the ground than the jet is rated at...it's crazy.

I agree, personally I won't do a dry shot again, wet is much safer IMO.

Well, there has been a lot of posts since i last posted, but here goes. . .

thanks "undefeated" for the link and the info. . . i can't wait for a boss mustang. . . i guess there will be no mach if there is a boss, right? ;-)

next. . .

i went to test and tune at the local track here in Ky. . . Clay City. . .

This happens to be the first time i got to see the new GTO run. . . and let me just say this. . . all of you all arguing who is faster are all correct to a certain extent. . . his car was bone stock, and he had 1500 miles on it. . .

after several runs and poor 60 fts he was only getting mid to low 14's. . . he ran a 14.1 three times in a row. . .

now with that said, and everyone knowing that anyone can make a fast car slow. . . i began to ask him how he was taking off and what not. .

i happen to have a lot of experience with the track, i go every 3 to 4 weeks regularly. . . after a quick conversation, i told him how to launch the car since that was his main problem. . . i personally can get 1.9 60's on stock tires. . . :-) . . not to brag or anything

when he took my advice. . . bam . . . 13.7 . . . when he got this time, he ran a few 13.8's and some more 14's. . . car was hot, he wasn't giving it much of a break. . .

with that said . . .

05-06 GTO is only faster than the 05-06 Mustang GT with a good driver. . . and VICA VERSA!!!!

but. . . with equal 60fts, I would say GTO wins everytime. . . IRS hurts goat, solid rear forever. . . MUstang 60fts > GTO 60fts on regular basis. . .

well, rant over. . .

I'll be using a WOT switch, window switch, and fuel pressure safety switch. Anything else I should watch out for with a dry kit? I've seen vids where someone using a wet kit experienced a "nitrous backfire" and blew the intake apart. Is that when the N20 stops spraying ("hiccup") and the fuel continues to spray, then ignites?
Sorry for the hijack.

Yae thats pretty much what happens but most of the time it happens when you spray at too low of an RPM. Sounds like you got all the safty stuff but you should put in a set of NGK TR6 plugs as well, do not run Platinum or Iridium plugs with nitrous.

That has been and is my only point. If any GM car lines up against me, he cannot chalk in a victory until he or she does it. It's not going to be any cake walks here.
With all that said and done, would it be fair to say this is what happens when all modding is complete concerning the LSX's vs the 05/06 stang?[8D] Maybe the legend does actually live.

So? That was the $4500 procharger performance package? It would be nice if they said which package would get you 12.40's on street tires.
