06 Dodge Charger SRT 6.1 Hemi



its the same friend which I beat in his AC Cobra 75 made replica (of which event I posted here a video some time ago also).
We test drived it I was in the back seat it seemed pretty impressive. However I didnt digged out any relevant data but Power: 425 horsepower at 6,200 rpm Torque: 420 lb-ft at 4,800 rpm.

That b$tch seems to be pretty heavy (Curb Weight AT 3820??? - what is that)

anyone raced hemi Charger b4? impressions? Im not asking "will I win?", I will simply rev up and kill him )))

btw do you like this Charger? I pretty much love its front grille and agressive looks (thou they could have do it more retro like style to original Charger IMHO), but the rear looks like a bl00dy Toyota!!!!

the (SRT) chargers are good for mid 13's, low 13's when driven properly
I would say the equivelent of a N/A carrera out there in the republic

curb weight is up there... i was thinking 4000 give or take. 425hp will make anything move pretty good tho. shouldbe a really good race.

I've heard a 05-07 GT is about equal to a R/T charger.

and the SRT8 chargers curb weight: 4160 lbs.

RT chargers and SRT chargers are two different beasts. don't get the man confused.... def a mid to low 13 second car airborne

anyway I think he has choosen wisely his car (I had to give him my approval too). There are almost 0 presented here and other choices were local typical wide used: A8 or Q7, Phaeton and similar no-soul cars. Charger IS, contrary to those mentioned, really a chood choice I think.

R/T's are ugly as hell but the SRT8's are ****ing hot.[&:]
