I drive a 98 GT. We went from a stop, we were even through first, then I pulled about a car on him at the end of second. At the end of 3rd I had about 2 cars on him when I slowed down. My car is stock and he has exhaust and intake. I was fairly surprised that I beat him. I can't wait to race him again after I start modding my car!

i'm glad you beat him. i dont respect MOST of the second gen dsm guys. it seems like more of them buy the car for the looks or rice effect. the first gens had stronger engines, bigger turbos, weighed much less and are ugly as sin. the true enthusiast have 1st gens. (imho)

werd. but, like you said, theyre just plain UGLY. and id rather have a 2nd gen. gsx. yup yup. when my friend and i get out of our mechanic schools, were gonna fix his car up and do mine too. hes got a '99 gs(10th ann). i put an aem cai on it for him, and he thought it gave him like 40hp.......idiot. oh well. plus, you can always take a first gen motor and drop it in a 2nd gen. i mean, hey, why not. its possible, but, everybody says it wont fit into a 2nd gen......why is that wrx ?? i know they have diff blocks, but, still......its been done, yet, people say it cant be.......WTF ??

'83 GT-newly acquired. project car. carb'd 302. hopefully 408 single turbo eventually when all is said and done
none taken. i know there is plenty of cars out there easliy capable of taking me. but since i got this new tranny and turbo, highway encounters just got a little more interesting.

when i bought my car this dumbass at the dealership was trying to show me this used 96 integra 4-door. he claimed it had like 250 hp or something retarded like that and all it had was intake, weld on fart can and a huge wing. they were askin like $8000 for it and it had almost 300,000 miles. bought my stang used with 8000 miles for $10,000. i had the hookup at the dealership.
