Default SO CLOSE!!!!!!

Well I finally got to race the guy Ive been wanting to race for weeks...It was a 98 GT. I figured I couldnt beat him but I just wanted to see how close i could get.....we took off dead even...i shifted to second and got ahead then he shifted and got ahead of me....that happend everytime until i went to o/d...that killed me...he went by and right there at the end my front bumper was right at his rear....i was so close to beating a gt......is there any other little thing i can give my car that would let me get that extra car length??

I dont believe I seen gears in your mod list, so if you dont have them, get them and you'll beat him.

I don't know how gearing is on a sixxer so I'll leave that to the V6 experts... but I will say some U/D pullies, a decent dyno tuneand a 75-100 shot with those gears and you will be well into 13's.... I think [&:]

I would say the nitrous with the pullies and the gears with the tune wouldn't go over 1,500 dollars

Add a good driver mod and much more is possible... look in 4.6 at the 12 second stang with low modifications (no power except cams, and a lot of suspension work)... was well into the 12's for little cash. Add power in the form of nitrous to that mix and 11's are very possible.

Also, glad to see you back Brian belated merry christmas.

stock split ports have 3.27s, 4.10s are great, however you can get 3.73s out of explorers/rangers for cheap, so that would also be good, however we also need a true trac for much more then bolt ons, the 7.5 tlok is weak

are you a 5 speed or an auto? if your an auto, a jmod and a set of gears with at True trac and he will be yours, or a 5 speed, add a STS and a driver with gears

BTW, ive taken an auto 95 vert 5.0, a 97 auto coupe, and a 96 5 speed vert before

It doesn't matter whether you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.

I'd go with headers, stall, gears and a tune if it was my car...that should really wake her up...should anyway
