Default RE: Gt vs WS6?

Yeah ls1's have proven by dyno to be way underated. They are rated at( z28/Trans-Am)305hp 98-00 310hp 01-02 flywheel horsepower. They commonly dyno about 300 hp at the rear wheels on a dyno jet.TheWS6 would tear that Mustang GT a new arse.Have you noticed that some trans-ams have two nostrils and others have the bigger four nostril hood with ram air 320 hp.The one with the four nostrils is the WS6.Dpnt mess with it if you have a stock GT!

How many times must anyone say it....an LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1. I don't care if it's a WS6 or an SS, it's all the same ****. One has a craptastic intake, suspension, and exhaust, which always gets traded off for a much better intake, suspension, and exhaust.

Actually, just got all the wiring figured out today from the nitrous kit/heater/transbrake/etc....I was using too small a wire. Go figure. All is good now. Thanks for asking though, and yes, it's still for sale if someone wants it. I'll just buy someone elses hotrod.

I've been great, just haven't had time to get online much. How about you?

Actually the 98-newerls1s dont have any more technical problems than the Mustang has from what I have seen. The biggest thing I know of is piston slap when the LS1'S are cold. Not all of them do it though. It is far superior to the LT1 Camaro/Trans-am.The Lt1 had a troublesome opti-spark,drivetrain vibration, weak power window motors, and some problems with Water Pumps leaking.
