i met up with some kid from my highschool, and the kid drives a jag xj8, and he was like "i am so kewl with my jag, im a spoiled little tool, one day we should race so i can burn you, lol" and i was like "**** you, its not even my car" but he insisted, so in 3 days we race
so the question is who will win, im not sure what they run, all i know is that its a v8, with 5speed auto, and my dads sti is a awd 6speed, turbo i4
so who'll win

lol. If he really has a XJ8, you'll whoop his monkey ASS! The new XJ's have a small v8. The XJR has a supercharged v8, 390HP. Im guessing his will squeeze out a mid 14. I dont think Jag makes/made anything faster than a 13.5ish. If you can drive at all. you can take him and make fun of him for it. Good luck...... BTW Im not condoning street racing at ALL. Im saying race at a strip if youre gonna.
its just an xj8 non turbo, but it does have quad cams, which add 1,000,000 horse power to the wings, so i better watch out, and ive had a decent amount of experiene with mtx to figure out a why to get a good launch, but im sure once ive beater him, hell say, "yeah but i still got a jag" to which ill respond "but you just lost to a subura"
I love shuttin up rich kids whos daddy bought them a car. If you are drivin your dads STi and sayin it is his, more power to ya. Its the ones who say they paid for all of it, and they really dont even pay for gas or ins. I have bills, rent, utilities, now a car payment, child support, and still I manage to build a low ten second N/A ride. I jus get irked by people who dont have to work for what they have, go whup his yuppy rich kid azz. Drop the clutch way high, and shift when the tach reads OMFG!
i use to hate mustangs because i associated it with spoiled kids, since it was always l33t to have one, and they would think they were badasses with there meinke dual exhaust and their 4speed automatic v6
i dont see the point of spoiling your kid, why buy them a 30,000 dollar car, when you can buy them a 3,000 car and make them learn the value of hardwork, and save yourself 27,000, esp to kids who abuse their parents and treat them like ****

Wow, from a young guy to an older one.... I definatly agree. My dad gave me his 92 ford ranger with 150k on it... But after that it was up to me for my next car and insurance on everything. I hate people that are handed everything.

If you dont work for what you have, you dont learn the value of it and you wont appreciate it as much. That is also why I havent ever wrecked a car, I have blown engines and burned out transmissions, but I can rebuild them. Totalling a car from sheer stupidity is completely different. Stupidity comes from not respecting or appreciating what you have, and the responsibility that comes with driving.
