Fair enough
Here's my car
I already know your car is fast JD. But damn.........that Lightning was right on your ass[:-]
EDIT: Ok, I looked at it again......I take it back. He was a few lengths back at the end. My bad[&o]
The Lightning ran a 12.5, he was more than few lenths back, but IIRC he treed me pretty good. He had a quick truck, and came over later and told me he did'nt exspect me to beat him that bad as my car looked stock at the time and he was on a slick and I was on a dr.

yeah 20psi tends to sound like that. and yes it was some rented shelby
actually, in most cobalts running 20psi with a stock s/c, it sounds more like "BOOM"

Why would it go boom? I have a friend that has ran a best of 12.8 @110 in one on the spray+more boostand hasn't had any issues.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

Honestly guys, just let it go. Cuz now he'll just go back to his Cobalt forum and report back how all us mustang guys get butt-hurt over a s/c 4 banger beating us. I really could care less how fast his car is or how slow the mustang he raced was. His video doesn't changemy reality any.

Good kill..........

????[&:]
it doesnt matter that forum is so ****ed anyway, i'd be surprised if there weren't two threads in the racing section right now of "stage 2 ss/sc vs ford gt vs f430 vs z06, ss/sc walks em with ease!" i wont name the forum, but iwhine knows what im talkin about. and blue, so many guys have blown #4 on the lsj with around 20 psi it isn't even funny. back when i was on ummmm an unnamed forum, there must have been 5 guys in 3 weeks that posted, "blew #4 "

as for this race... with a bad launch it's beleivable. That shelby should have ****in ROCKED that ss out of the hole, but it didn't. That ss is a high 13 sec car, the shelby is a mid 13 car, so having a ****ty ass launch could decide the race, im not too surprised really. Auto shelby (basically gt) with ****ty launch can get beaten by a modded cobalt, that should not be a big surprise.

more than 20psi? I beleive a 2.5" makes about 21-22 and good luck going smaller than that on the m62...

He's running 18 psi boost on a Gm stage 2 kit plus the spray. I've read on the cobolt forum that they have an issue with piston rings or rods or whatever but I asked about this, and my friend gave me the 1000 Hp ecotec comments. I don't claim to be a ecotec factorytech.

i think its the ring landing that is having issues. I don't think it has been determined yet, but i beleive it is most likely a fuel delivery issue, but it is not easily fixable. The 1000 hp ecotec shares the valve cover and the block with the stock ecotecs. lol.
