so with equall drivers wouldnt the ws6 come out on top?
they can run 12s' stock
was the ws6 an LT1 or LS1?

Well, mine's an 2003 so I've heard of stock ones running anywhere from low 14's to low 13's. I never ran mine stock but I'd assume with my driver skills at the time I bought the car I'd probably be in the high 13's or low 14's. With a great driver, you might see a 13.4 or so with a great launch and shifting. They typically would trap around 101 - 103. Now the 05's and 6's have seen much better times with a great driver.

Stock for stock, the ws6 would eat an Evo. It would be close but the ws6 would come out on top especially up top. I'm just a little bit away from stock though. That's why I said it wasn't really a fair race since he was stock. To be honest on the LT1 or LS1 question, I'll have to get back to you on that. I'm not that knowledgeable about the ws6's. I'll ask him at the next meet. If I'm not mistaken, he said crank horsepower was around 330 to 350. I'm only listing the range because I can't remember what he said. Sorry.. I'll have to claim stupidity here..

Good kinda loss I guess. Turbo cars are a huge pain in the *** with all the tighten, tinkering and leaks involved.[:@]Going from 28 PSI to 16 must have felt like stepping off of a missile and going to a skateboard.

Nice run buddy, it won't be a contest after Buschur is done with it! And +1 to what bluebeast said... there are so many little things you have to keep your eyes on and maintain in a turbo car. It's the price you pay for running a big *** snail!

If I used the logic I see on here a terminator would be a 13 second car because everyone I saw run stock was a 13.1 ~ 13.4 at Cordova. Not saying all LS1 cars are 12 second beasts but every LS1 car surely isn't a 13.5 or slower.

WS6's are LS1s. Sticker HP was 325 or 350 with the Ram Air. Good run

The Ws6 package has been avalible on the T/A since the 70's. There were LT1 WS6's as well and no the Ram Air cars were not rated at 350 hp (even though they did actually make 350 at the crank just like EVERY other LS1).
