It wasn't even a catback. He had welded-in flows I think.
They checked the car for a chip b/c they couldn't believe it, but alas, no chip. He gained 25 RWHP UNTUNED. This was just a dyno day, not a tune.

nope, sorry, it was stock except for the catback and put down 400RWHP. the dyno was fine as everyone else's numbers were right on. they checked to make sure he didn't have a chip or something after the 425RWHP from just the filter. filter + catback = 425RWHP. that doesn't mean every cobra will do that, but that's what his did. he had the entire group crowded around after that run.

if they told you it was stock and put down 400rwhp, either they lied to you or the dyno lied to them..... or it was bone stock with a dyno tune, stock terminators usually put down 365-375....but ive herd rumors of some comming close to 390rwhp area....

Its funny cuz i just got done watching a clip from horsepower tv w/ a 03 cobra. it dynoed 364rwhp and after tune + pulley, it hit 427rwhp. O and my bad for not reading ur post %100, i would of answered half my questions.
w/ street tires, the vette will probl hit low 12's, i just got done watching a 07 z06 run 11.8 @124ish(& he wheel hoped like a mf), but i cant c ls3 dipping into the 11's w/ 30 some hp incrase. Dr tire is a differnt story
but anyway; a tune and pulley cant cost much; tell ur buddy to go buy that and we have a race!

The cobra wont have over 400rwhp with just a K&N, the vette will when pretty easy. With sticky tires and a cold night Im sure the ls3 could hit high 11s easy.

My buddy in his '04 Cobra is going to race his brother in his new '08 LS3 (6 speed auto).
The Cobra just has a K&N, the Vette is bone stock.
Who should I bet to win the quarter? Will the LS3 pull the Cobra on Top-end?
