All I can say is that i'd much rather a Saleen S281E, then any product Roush came out with... All the number they produce (Roush) is inflated.... the cars aren't that quick... I absolutly anally raped a new Stage 3... it wasn't even close... I was dissapointed... atleast the Saleen S281 S/C I ran, put up a fight...

Roush isn't a straight line car though its a track car for going around corners really its the handling that makes it different. Yes you can get better but standard they are quicker than an M3 around a track...that is impressive.

heres the way the race would look i think
281e win from 15 mph roll until about 120mph, then that barn door front end would begin to catch too much air, and slow the car down while the Z06 slices to the 140mph+ mark with slight ease. the weight diffrence would be offset by the power diffrence. granted the 15-(115-120) would not be an asskicking the 281E would have the Z by fender to 1/2 a car. then the Z would disappear above 120mph.

Saleen- 4.5 0-60 and low 12's in the 1/4
my info on the saleen came from an advertisement in a car and driver magazine... however if you google the car it cannot break past 4.2 (wich is fast!) or the 12's... yet i bet with a skilled driver the car could run high 11's
but with common everyday drivers... ill put $100 bucks on the vette reguardless

The best magazine time i've seen for a C6 Z06 was 0-60 3.5 and 1/4 11.5. Some individuals have done even better in the corvette forums (11.2,11.1,11.3, non DR) I think the Z06 has the complete advantage. Besides that, where did you get that 11.5 time for the Saleen E Sleeper? Because that means that it can also run with a Ford Gt. Which I highly doubt.
