i heard that if anything on the rotery motors goes bad you pretty much have to get a whole new motor? is this true?
and can you raise the compression and things like that on these motors? they seem too simple, like not as much room to improve?

No that is not true.

There are different types of porting you can do on the housings which will allow formore ALOT morepower. You can expect MASSIVE gains even from an NA rotary engine. Here is a link:

if those cars are so light, moving at such high speeds, what happens when they get into car accidents? there must be absolutely no kind of cushion, that car would crumble like a peice of paper

A car's no weight really has no bearing on how safe it is in an accident. It's more dependent on design, structural integrity, and crumple zones. When a car crumples, it absorbs the kinetic energy of the impact, thus keeping the occupants from absorbing it. That's why big ***, heavy old cars from the 70's aren't as safe as many would believe. Simple analogy- get two equal sized boxes, both on a set of wheels. One box is styrofoam, the other is just 1/2" plywood. Now get in each box, roll down a hill, and into a tree, and see which hurts worse.....

they did a test with a old volvo, big huge car, and a TINY TINY TINY euro car, that could BARLEY fit 4ppl, got great gas milage, and weighed nothing.....

crashed them........... and the lil euro car crumpled, and the test dummys in the car where fine.

the volvo SMASHED to hell, and said that the passenger in the car would have broke both legs, and some other crap.

that changed my mind on alot of things i thought about crash's

That guy is not funny at all lol, plus the video is very very old. It is interesting how it was told through a stand up comedian though.
