Very good kill. Of all the imports the EVO is about my favorite car.
ditto, looking @ a highly modded one at the moment.

Indeed. An LS1 should pull an Evo up top like a freight train....

Not sure if you have any mods but my comments would suggest you don't. If your trapping 108 and you had about a car on him when he let off (granted you were still pulling slowly), I'd say he had all the minor bolt-ons (turbo-back exhaust, intake and tune). Without knowing the year, ifit wasan older one, he may have had cams too. With just these parts installed on my car a long time ago, I was trapping around 106-107. (2003 Evo). If it was a newer one like a 9, I doubt he had cams. A 70mph roll is a tough spot to start from in the Evo. Your nearing the top of third (80-85) and at the bottom of 4th. I assume he was in 4th when he took off.

Never the less, great kill. You've got a sickride to trap 108 stock!

I was hoping for better...but here is how it turned out...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=UMdcrSZ_wwI

Persons first time using the camera (I am working on it ) I gave some pointers for 'next' time so I can get a better view.

It is what it is...sorry I was hoping it turned out better.

All I have done to the car so far is some replacement tires (Contact Extremes factory spec)... I wish the video was better because you really can't tell how well he hung and how he slowly fell back...she was trying to get it lined up in the mirror but it's a bad view...

I've got about everything done with the exception of a built motor and a "BIG" turbo. I do have an upgraded turbo but nothing too nasty. My planin the next 6 months is to get the motor rebuilt (Stage 3 head & block) and go with a HTA35R. Hopefully after this, I'll be done!< That's what I keep saying. Ha-ha. I'd love to have a 10 second daily driver!

From the video, looks like you took him pretty good. He may have had a couple of bolt-ons (Turbo Back Exahaust) but due to the amount of distance you put on him, i'd say that's about it. Again, great kill. I'm impressed with the power of your car "stock"!
