Default went to the test n tune today

took my 88 to the track today and ran it 11 times its mostly stock unknown mileage on motor could be 50k 150k or 250k lol with ****ty bald tires and a non functioning tach my best run was a 14.534@96mph no launch. didnt break anything..... but i really need to get tires lol... oh and today i noticed that my plug wires say 1988 on them som im pretty dang sure theyre the factory ones... ill get on those tommorrow

That is actually a pretty damn good time for your car and unknown miles with bald tires. Get some DR's and I bet you could hit a 14.2-14.3.

Nota bad run for a stock fox at all man. Theres a guy who goes to our local track, and went 14.1 with the following, 3:73's, msd plugs and wires, x-pipe, headers, and slicks. But he does need the driver mod...BADLY.

nah im not broke i ussualy drive my 82 i never drive the 88 since ive been working on it but i just decided on a whim to go see what it can do, i was very impressed with that run when i get some new tires,some botl onsand get my tach to work right i think i can get into the 13s....i ordered some MSD 8.8 wires today and a msd cap and rotor and msd blaster coil

oh and also that run was with a .848 reaction i need to work on that some.

Good times! Maybe those freakishly old wires are some super wire that's giving you damn good times! Or maybe it's time to get new wires and you're one hell of a driver
