Those G35s are not very quick. Barring a complete meltdown you should have this.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

I'm 285 lbs, and with my 300 lb fat freind riding shotgun, I totally destroyed a G37S with my bolt-on S197 last week.

You should handle a stock G35, no problem.

Yes. That 15 pounds and the fact that I'm almost a foot taller than him. But I'm fat too.

You should take him easily.. I raced one back when I was stock that was a 6sp and I put 2-3 cars on him to 100. I just recently raced one with my mods now and I kinda felt bad how bad I beat him from a 40mph roll. Don't get me wrong the G35 is a sick car and I wouldn't mind owning one but I don't understand why people drag race them. He would be lucky to have 320 hp at the crank with bolt-ons and a tune. They respond horribly to mods.

just kept up pretty well with a G37 (it looked stock) from a roll. neither of us really went anywhere. theyre a little bit lighter and they put out an extra 50 hp or so. not very worried about the g35, should be an easy win unless i botch up shifting real bad.

now where is my damn stimulus check so i can get my CAI and tune?!

you should take him easily. if he is a manual hes making slightly more power than an automatic (around 298) but this is controversial. if its an auto i believe some of them (denoted by an x next to G35) are variable AWD... i think it may have a LSD too.. but the fact remains is its a Nissan Motor. and lets face it.. when the V35 skyline was introduced in japan (marketed as the infiniti G35 here in the states) it was shunned by the enthusiasts for a reason. dont miss a shift and youll be fine... if you do miss a shift.. youll still probably be fine.

I've never raced a G35, only stock and modded 350Z's.
I posted a few weeks ago how i beat my friends modded 350Z with a HKS exhaust, HKS intake, HKS Groundwiring, and some transmission mod or tune.
Beat him by 1-2 car length's with my 20's before my CAI+Tune. Don't freak out when he stays next to you when you launch, you'll probably start pulling by the end of 2nd.... maybe even earlier since you have your stock rims
