I know what it means - I just find the term funny. Cam only seems to mean every bolt on under the sun plus a cam.

This car does not even have full bolt on's. It still needs Fast intake, Fast TB, UD pulley, Maf, aftermarket clutch, and suspesion work. This car does even have the Race header, it has the bs one with the EGR system.

I still don't see what everyone was getting butthurt about. I see a sub 90mph 1/8th mile and a 27mph gain on the backhalf without even knowing what the conditions were like. Granted that's not a small gain, but the car was tracking pretty hard out of the hole which might have contributed to the low 1/8th mile trap speed.

That pass looks right on par to me. THe ET's match up with what my car runs on a 11.7x pass, the MPH is a bit higher, but the OP is a stick so that makes sense.

I think people still refuse to believe LS1's were actually designed by God and passed on the GM engineers through a dream.

sarcasm not needed....

and no replys from any GM guys are needed.

fact is the LS1 is a good motor, its 23% larger displacement gives it a starting advantage.

I much prefer the look of the stang and that's why I own one.

Actually the point was that IMO (and mine alone) that the GenIII and GenIV series motors are phenomenal in terms of a viable choice for a high-performance platform with a few bolt-ons out of the box.
