First time out with cam only T/A
Well a few months ago I took my boys T/A to the track. It went a 12.55@114 with headers, lid(which I thought was stock)Ypipe, catback. Everyone was calling bs on a few sites. Everyone said it had a cam because of the mph. So my boy said f it lets see what it would do with a cam and gears. We put a MS4 cam and got Cartek to tune it. Cartek told him they don't think its a ms4 cam because of the way it idles and the hp it made. The car made 390rwhp with a self tune tru 4.10 gears. We also got a set a skinnes.The only time I drive the car is at the track so I don't real have a feel for the shift points and how the car drives yet. I made about 7 passes and the best pass was 11.72@117mph. That's a pick up of 8tenths from a cam install, tune, skinnes and gears. It picked up 4mph in the 1/8 but only 3 in the 1/4. I can't wait to get some good racing weather. I also get a new pb 60' of a 1.57 put the was not on the 11.72 pass. All and all I love this car.
Honda ftw though.

yea 110-112 was what most people was getting, the main thing they was calling bs on was the back half gain. Which was 27mph, now with the cam it did not back half 27mph. But it did back then, there was no reason for me to lie. Op yea thanks on the bike numbers.

No I did not get any video. But Friday is a street stick event so I will be back then, maybe I'll get someone to video it. There was alot of mustang at the track sunday only one of the ones I spoke with are members, his name was Navy something he had a white s197 that went 13.20@105 with headers and exhaust on stock tires

Low teens from a bolt-on LS1 is not BS calling material. If you had a 93-97 T/A then yes I would be calling BS, but I don't see anything in there that is unheard of. Post your full slip. I want to see this "crazy" back half gain.
