Default Hemi Charger kills Mustang sixxer...

So I was drivin around killin time till the gf gets off work,
when a hemi charger comes up next to me from behind haulin ass on the beltway feeder...
I see him comin so I downshift and manage to keep up till the next light...
We take off and both of us spin like ****in crazy keepin us about dead even till we both hook and the charger starts pullin...
He doesn't pull hard,
but steadily through 4th till we shut down at the next red light...
In all he put about a car maybe a car and a half on me...
We take off again at this light,
but this time I feather pretty damn good and take the launch holdin it through second till he hooks good and starts pullin again...
Same result except he only puts about half a car to a full car on me this time...
We aren't up front on this light so I roll down my window and ask wut mods he's got other than his gynormous chrome 20"s...
(Hell... They might have been 22"s or 24"s for all I know... ****in huge though...)
Turns out all he's runnin is a pair of flowmasters...
Pretty sure he was auto cause he only spun in 1st,
whereas I scratched through 4th...
After that light we parted ways cause I had to exit...
Not a great story,
but I was surprised I kept up as well as I did...
Oh...
He also had another person w him in the car...
Not as big as the guys in the GT I raced the other day...
Maybe 160-170 extra lbs though...
Anywho,
enjoy...

Hemi Charger? So it was an SRT8?
SRT 8 Chargers run around a 13.5
Sounds about right, add some oversized rims, a hefty driver, and your mods.
Nice death.

Nice death..sounds like an R/T... low 14s/high 13s when driven well. (New 2008+ are supposed to be high 13/mid 13 cars now).

They were all Autos so definately wasn't a manual that you raced.

Nice death.
Even the mags run low 13s in SRT8s.. 13.5 is like a first time pass from a novice.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

Noble death. A local dealer puts 22s on their Chargers so who knows. 20s are standard on the SRT-8s and look proportionate.

You can tell the SRT-8s by the red Brembos, besides badging, hood scoop, etc.
