I was on my way home from a friends house tonight in my Jimmy when I see two cars acting like idiots behind me. I'm behind them for a few miles and they keep just passing each other. When I get up to a light with them I can see that it's a Dodge Stratus with a fart can and some ugly body kit, and a PT Cruzer GT (2.4L turbo), which a mild but by no means rice looking muffler on it. I couldn't tell what if anything else the PT cruzer had because I was behind it. Anyway the light turns green and the Stratus is clearly going for it when the PT just annihilates it. I mean he must have pulled 2-3 car lenghts within the first few seconds.
I know thost PT GT's have the same engine as the SRT-4 but how quick can they be made?

Don't the PT Cruiser GT's run like a 15.3 stock?
They might have a decent engine, but I'm sure they're heavy and about as aerodynamics as a brick

They were peppy little hurses. But the staged kits didn't work with them for some reason. If someone wanted, they could slap a bigger turbo on a PT and reap the same benfits the SRT-4 sees. Just with a ton of added weight.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.
