Red face Went to track yesterday - (Pics/Vids)

Went to the 1/8th mile yesterday with my cousin (his s2k)

It was his first time out there, he staged with his rear tires lol. Anyway, i couldnt hook if my life depended on it, best run was a 8.8(vid), got about 5 runs in, 3 of which i didnt even go for it because i was spinning bad, heres a video of me racing the s2k, i was granny shifting for some traction!

It looks like you have some good tires...maybe you should invest in some lca's and subrames to help out that wheel hop

Yeah the tires are pretty good, but i cant launch with them, even a 1.5k launch was spinning like crazy. Im lookin at maybe ordering the jegs 15x8 wheels and mounting slicks on them.

Yeah, those 300 tread wear rating 35 series tires never did it for me either. Like butta. These 100 tread wear nitto DR's are much stickier... we'll see how long they last on the street.... so far so good after about 1.5k miles. I'll probably end up with some Nitto NT05's for the rear when these wear out and just get some track wheels/tires like you're considering. Hell, I gotta go to the track first though lol.

I'll be adding some relocation brackets soon...2.2 - 1.85 60fts. I'm a believer after watching this vid. http://video.stangtv.com/video_detail.php?mId=4394
