TRUST ME it sounds a whole lot better in person. My crappy camera doesn't do it justice.

Which car are you planning to wrap around that LS2?

Oh yea, come on over to the LSx world.

Yea i need a camera. I took out my phone to record it, but i have a sidekick so the camera quality is comparible to the 1800's.

Ya dude. I couldn’t believe we got 3 different races, with 3 sick cars. 2 of the races took place on the 101 freeway (towards Encino, woodland hills, Calabasas). The evo race took place on the 2 North(towards La Canada, Angela's crest). Ya i would love too as well, i will contact him and let him. I think he’s car is as base as it gets. No navi, no heads up, base 6 speed black ls3. It comes with the carbon fiber trim inside, real nice.

Nice runs and with several stock ones already running high 11s, the base model Vette has never been so impressive.

Now to outsiders the LS3s 24-30hp jump over the LS2 doesn't sound like much, but GM really backed off the torque management so the car feels much more responsive and alive. I've driven both LS2 and LS3 variants, and I must say for a stock car the LS3 feels damn good. Not to compare it with my own, because my car is not stock, but a full bolt on LS3 should be dead heat with a stock Z06. Which is pretty damn good if you ask me.

My friend first drove both the Ls2 and Ls3 and said that the difference felt more then just 30hp. I never got a ride in a ls2 but this ls3 keeps pulling and pulling. ITS A BEAST! I've been given a ride in a stock c5 z06. I felt the power more in the ls3 but that can't really judge it. I would love to see how the ls6 and ls3 match up. Ya, my friends goal is to mod it enough to be even with a stock z06. Which I’m guessing needs to be in the 450-500 ranges, correct? Thanks for the great info boss.

Yeah that's the same thing I was thinking when I first drove the LS3... It felt like more than 30hp. The top end is also much better than an LS2. But you are right anywhere from 450-460 or above rwhp, and he will be right with the Z06.

Tell him to be safe out there and respect the car. I'm not saying it's the fastest thing out there but, they are so damn deceptive. 100mph feels like 70.

Dood....he was turning that SOB up! That thing flat moved out. What were the mods? It didn't run like no 450rwhp car. Had to have a cam....he was turning it up to near 7k....I didn't even turn my old cam up that high and it was a monster.

Oh sorry I meant a corvette LS2 probably an 06-07. I was seriously considering doing a turbo or s/c, but after looking at the cost to run it safely and everything, I might as well get a vette and do bol-on's plus cams and beat a s/c GT and have none-little reliability issues.
