On my way to my uncles house i spotted a orange c6 as i merged on the highway. I had to merge onto a different highway a mile down so i didn't really try to get him to run. Luckily, he was going the same way and pulled up next to me and downshifted to show me he's down to run. We get onto the highway and play tag a couple times till traffic clears up.
60mph roll, im in 3rd. He signals for me to hit it first, i do. He proceeds right away and DOES NOT gain anything on me till 110ish he started pulling quick, had to shut down due to traffic. Wish we had more room to run again lol.. oh well.. and both cars were manual transmission.
I was pretty disappointed with the exhaust note on this thing. I honestly didn't like the way it sounded. Ive heard stock z06s a couple of times go WOT and those are a WHOLE other animal. I'm sure a cat back would fix that though.

I've never been able to tell much difference from one v8 to the next, but apparently every Mustang guy on the planet can. My old LS1 car with true duals/bullets/dumps/.60x lift cam....sounded like a monster. I still had guys tell me a Mustang sounds better...IDK.

Oh & I didnt say mustangs sound better, i just stated i didnt like the tone of the c6. I'm sure if he threw a cat-back on there it would sound better than my mustang will full exhaust.

Yeah it was probably more like a humming sound wasn't it. lol Alot of people don't like the way the C6 vette sounds even with the cat backs on. Yes it sound better but not what they want and this is coming from corvette guys.
I, myself love the sound of LTs and Borla Stingers.
