What do stock vert termi's run in the 1/4 with an average driver?

This guy wasn't stock....and even if he was I'd say they at LEAST trap 110mph.....Evan Smith ran one to 114mph I believe. You might see 107 if God blows you down the track.

Never personally seen one , but ive read guys posting on the forums making 400 hp at the wheels bone stock. The termi's are way underated from the factory for insurance purposes.

Oh, my bad.

What does a 2003 Mustang Cobra SVT Convertible with an x pipe and intake run in the 1/4 mile with an average driver?

I don't know if its for insurance purposes or not, but yeah, i know. Heard of em putting down 390 to the wheels stock regularly.

Are you sure it was an 03? Are you sure it was even a cobra and not a clone? There are many possiblities unless you actually knew the guy.

+1

Termies are beasts. The owner had to be texting his friend with both hands for that outcome to happen.

I'll chip in since I have the best of both worlds.

Bone Stock 03 Cobra Coupes have run a best of 12.4 @ 115.

On average, being fair with weather conditions, they will run 12.7's-12.8's and trap 110+.

Now, a very, is only about 75 lbs more weight. That isn't going to "hurt" the car enough.

It's kind of funny. My buddy, that has similar mods to you, and actually makes a bit more power, raced my Cobra with just bolt-ons', and I had at least 3 cars by 90 MPH and he got the hit.

It's all about the instant TQ and the insane powerband Cobra's produce stock or pullied.

I've seen several, and I mean several 03-04 Cobra verts running in the 12's with decent drivers. However, they usually trap no less than 108. Which is definitely enough to beat you down from a roll.

Ford later stated, at the end of the Cobra's produced in 2003 that in fact, the Cobra's made 430HP and 430TQ from the factory. Hence, the high dyno numbers.

Also, intake and Cat-back will put an 03/04 Cobra extremely close to 400WHP and WTQ if not more.

So again, 75 lbs is not going to give you the edge when there is damn near a 100RWHP and 100RWTQ difference.
