Woah, wait, morbid were you at the GVSU show? Two New Edge GTs and a GTO rolled in really late and parked over in another lot. The one GT looked exactly like the one in the video, and the other one had out of state plates I think. I went and checked the GTs out, but didn't really pay attention to the GTO. I did notice ET Streets on the GTO though.

Morbid, I gotta agree with 98ls1 about that stall business. I tried a 2800 stall before and only kept it in for a week. I honestly could barely even tell it was there. I went back to the 3800. With your power and tires you really will benefit more from the larger stall. But still, any stall is better than none at all.

+1,000 on the trans cooler.

yes sir I was... I think I saw your car there as well, I ended up parking next to the orange G8 GT... it felt nice being the only GTO there :-)

there was a **** ton of rice there, I couldn't believe how many imports I saw with no power to back it up... on top of that they even popped thier hoods to say "HEY! guess what?! ALL SHOW AND NO GO BABY YEAH!" lol

the only fairly quick import I could see there was the STI.... did you happen to catch the 89 supra with the SC430 lexus V8 swap? that thing sounded SOOO mean and the engine was mounted spotless.. talked to the guy a bit, he did all of the work out of his garage and he plans on a centrifugal soon... that thing is going to be a major sleeper, and I love it lol

I could be wrong, and don't be too mean to me, but shouldn't the GT have performed a LOT better than that from the dig?

If you're HOPING to hit 12's that probably meanas you're a low low 13 to high 12 car, and he's running all those bolt ons and DR's of his own, I would have expected it to be much much closer.

well from what I saw he was the slower car even if he did get a good hook... we did more than a few roll races... from 20MPH, 40MPH, 60MPH etc etc and I would just leave him

even if he did get a flawless 1.7 or something on the street and jmped out a car, by the middle of second I would be back to putting lengths on him from the amount I pull in the lower gears

but I will give you that the GT should have performed better from a stop, but I'm not sure it would have mattered anyways simply because launching my car is so easy and consistant... that last race in the dark was one of the better launches he got on me

I'm just looking at times both cars seem capable of.

If you're shooting for high 12's, the GT shouldn't be more than a car or so behind by the end of a full quarter mile.

You're the FASTER car, I'm not arguing that at all.

what kind of 60' times are you pulling as the car sits in that video? have you been to the track with the MT ET Streets?

I only had it to the track once and that was without the tune and on totally different tires that came from the dealership and no practice on my launch at all... only had the car for about a week at this point

but it ended up being a 13.3 on a 2.X 69ft... pretty sure it was like 2.2... but like I said it really should be taken with a grain of salt considering the variables

I think he comes across as, "he wants you to think he doesn't give two craps about peoples opinions, yet secretly it's what drives him to 'act' the way he does"

but...he won't care I said that as he's not interested in what anyone else says ;-)

13.3 with a 2.2 60'.. must be nice.. I run high 13's with those launches@5-6 mph slower.

I'm on a 4.6 2V hate streak recently....
