Has anyone raced an R/T, SRT8 Challenger and or a new V6, Z28 or SS Camaro? What were you driving? Who won? What were the conditions? Roll racing? Dig? I'm curious to know how any of these stack up.

The other week at the track there was a guy with a R/T Challenger, pretty sure it was stock. I was running 13.20's and he went like 14.2 on one of the runs. The DA was around 2,600ft, and I have no idea if it was manual or auto or what the 60' was. I'm pretty sure the mph was like 102-105 range. The heat and humidity tend to hurt out there sometimes, 14.0 is typical for a stock S197 with decent 60's in the more moderate summer evenings.

Who cares how much horsepower it has, all that matters is how fast it goes!
13.20's with 2.25-2.30 60's, 40+ year old suspension sucks!
Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.
12.80 at 110.5mph NHRA DA corrected
i've ran against a 2SS Camaro (LS3 car), but i was in my Silverado and he just royally curb stomped me. they make a 16 second truck seem like a beached whale.
over on Svtperformance a guy raced a new SS in his blown 2v ( like 600rwhp) and put a buslenghth on him. then he raced one in his shelby and killed it too.
no & yes. I haven't raced against one, but I have raced one. My dad has a 08 Challenger SRT-8, he took it to the track and the best he ran was a 14.6 (I believe) I made a pass in it and got a 13.7 (I believe... may have been a 13.6)
The car probably has a 13.3-.4 in it with a good launch.
I haven't ran against him b/c I don't want to hurt his feeling.
