Something similar......I made it to the semi finals at FFW Norwalk 06. I was in Street Ford and there were like 300 cars in the class. I try racing with below a 1/4 tank of fuel all the time. I had to run like 12 races (I'm too lazy to do the math), and all those blasts down the track with the 93 tune really gulps the gas. Long story short I was below the slash by the time I was eliminated. That would have been embarrassing, running out of gas in the final on the track.
PS don't run your car below 1/8 of a tank in a fuel injected car. All the crud in the bottom of your tank gets sucked into your fuel filter and could clog your fuel line.

He did beat you. Run what you brung, and you didn't bring enough gas! lol. At least you didn't have a fuel pressure regulator come off in the middle of your race, now that's embarassing.
