It's a hot muggy day and i'm cruising around in the GT. Minding my own business... the Dodge pulls up next to me... We're at 4-way stop. We both leave the sign at the same time with a little bit of wheel spin, we're neck and neck approaching 60mph, and his engine ROARING next to me... We both slow down for the narrow winding turns up ahead. I pace behind him approaching the limits of our grip... We make our way through the winding turns and come up upon an other stop sign. We both come screaching to a halt. I see a "Marines" sticker on the vehicle... We are next to each other at the stop sign... a few words, and revs, are exchanged... we both grin... it's on... It's time for me to put these marines in their place... We both punch it... it's neck and neck and tires are screaming.......
and then I put like 5 bus lengths on that mini-van!!

You can never have too much power, just not enough traction. 11.867 @ 119.35
Oh, and if you guys are wondering why a minivan Stayed next to me all the way up to 60... it's cuz I didn't realize he was trying to race me until I heard his engine screaming next to me... I never actually punched it lol Not til we lined up at the next stop sign and they rev'd at me and the passenger was like "Let's go!" And I laughed and said "Ok" then we both punched it and we stayed next to each other til like 10mph when I got some good traction and just took off lol

I also raced a minivan not long ago.. it was my bro-in-law.. funny thing is that his tires where squeeling almost as bad as mine(he had fwd).. with gears even 1/3rd throttle at launch is too much on the street with stock tires so he stayed even till i eased off the throttle and stopped spinning. .then it was like 3 lengths by 60
i agree about everyone wanting to race in SA. i lived there all my life till i moved to houston a few years ago. you can go downtown on a saturday night and probably race 50 different people if you wanted to.
hell, even now when i go back to visit, there are always people on 281 trying to race. anything from sedans to bikes and everything in between.
apparently i just never bit on as many as you OP. your car must average about 2 miles per gallon as much as you race.

That's the plan. The only thing that sucks is I have a dentist apointment in the morning. Hopefully all the numbing sh1t wears off quick so I don't look like a retard drooling on myself.
Nah, this was a 4400lb Grand Caravan. Looked pretty new, and I doubt it had the biggest motor in it lol It was definitely completely stock.
