He said the guys got a custom tune for it so either they know what they're doing with a laptop or they put it on a dyno. All he told me was it had a custom tune, I'll ask to be sure.

Surely a custom tune is a dyno tune. A mail in tune is one of those run of the mill deals.

I still call BS.....the Vette can NEVAAAAR lose!!!!

I ran a 99 or 01 cobra one night at the track. I dont know what all he had done but he had to of had spray. No turbo spooling or s/c whine from a roots or centri. I launched hard and got out on him from the 60ft. Watching the vid he was catching me quick but he had problems and ran a 13.4 @ 87mph to my 12.87 @ 108. The rest of the night he was trapping 120. Them 4vs on the juice are beast!

yea even with steep gear's like 4.10's spraying in 5th is a death wish IMO for the car.

still yet with some big sticky tire's and suspension work that would a quick ride.

He's supposed to come to a barbecue today, but I doubt we'll get vids. He's not the kind of guy to start drinking, then get in his car a spray the crap out of it.

3rd gear in a 4.30 geared car with a 3650 should be at 85mph at 6500 in 3rd (91 if he revved to 7k), 112mph at 6500 rpm in 4th(120 if he revved to 7k)

so u were in 5th at 130 or the speedo was not re-calibrated

He started in third and proceeded to go through the gears until we were at about 125-130mph. The shop re-calibrated the speedo.

god damn, good luck getting that thing to go anywhere from a dig... it was hell getting my 246RWHP 2V to hook with 4.10's... and I even had DR's and an automatic
