Default 01 KB Cobra vs me vs HCI 95 Cobra

First up is my buddy with his 95 Cobra. It has a full Trick Flow HCI, full exhaust and full bolt ons, with 3.73's. His numbers are 305rwhp/325rwtq. Mine are in my signature. We do a 2nd gear roll at 25-30 mph. He definantly got me (i'm n/a on this run) but not really bad...about 1.5 to 2 cars by around 100 mph. I fully expected it, but it was closer than i thought.

Next up my other buddy with his 305 big bore 01 Cobra, with a Kenne Belle supercharger. With only 7 lbs. of boost it puts down 460rwhp/385rwtq, and has a 4.10 gear. Same deal...25 mph roll...2nd gear, and me spraying of course! It was fairly even until the middle of 3rd where he started pulling me. He also had a good 2 cars on me by 110 mph.

So all in all i wasn't too dissapointed. Especially considering what i was up against! It was definantley a fun night!

Sounds like a lotta fun! Def seemed to hold your own against the other two cars. At least you took the losses in stride.

Are those numbers on that 95 cobra normal for that amount of work? Just seems like a ton of money for 305whp....

Well 300 for a TFS top end is about normal for most 302 owners. Sounds like some good runs.

Parts for foxes are like half the price compared to s197s and even the new edges

nice runs. get yourself some ported heads and cams and you'll give that 95 cobra one hell of a run

Good thing a 95 cobra isn't a fox.

I'll be doing cams in the next couple of weeks, so that will probably put me at 290-300 hp n/a and 400 hp on juice. I think then i'll be able to run with the 95 Cobra. I think the 01 Cobra will still get me though! That car is an absolute monster! He even beats his buddy's pullied 03 Cobra!

My 528 rwtq is really only a spike at 3k where the N20 kicks on, then it drops from there. So while it may sound impressive, i really don't see this number when i'm banging through the gears.

Did you already buy your cams?? If yes, what kind did you get? I've been doing a lot of reading on 2v cams since ill be doing ported heads and cams next, and i recommend CMS cams. They have a good deal if you want to port your heads too

that should bump u right up to 305-310 to the wheels.
