Friday night me and a freind (01 Z28 headers, exhaust, tune, pulleys, 3.73's, tb and 295 nitto DR) went to this local hang out to see if their was anything goin down. As we park we get asked if we are looking to run, this guy says he has full exhaust, intake, mild cam and a 75 shot on street tires in his 96 Trans am (automatic). I tell him my mods and they see both of us have DR tires and their still willing to run so we head out.
Race 1- me vs trans off spary (digg). I knew he was at a disadvantage with his tires but im sure he figured it aswell. I pull instanly on him off the line and while he's still trying to catch im a good ways gone so that was a pretty short race i say.
Race 2- 25-30mph roll race off spray. I honk it off while im in low gear up in the 4K range. 3rd honk i instanly jump on him .5 car while hitting the limiter and i see that he's at pace with me then I shift to 2nd and pull a bit more and when i switch to drive i was a good 2-2.5 cars ahead and then shut it down.

So i end up going 2-0 against this guy. I knew the dig race he was clearly at a disadvantage but i offered him a roll race to be more even, I thought he was gonna edge me out on the roll. Funny thing is his crew/friends whatever where sayn his tires can only hook so much (refering to me) like if i was pushing big time numbers to the wheels. And my buddy told me that when we were lining up they were saying "that mustang is gonna loose" yadehh yadehh yadehh. Little did they know what was coming. The guy talked a good game put couldnt back it up.

I would of thought that having a mild cam and full exhaust would have your ride sound deep but his car didnt sound like if he had those mods

So many factors come into play when street racing! Theoretically he should have beat you, but he didn't. Maybe he was lying about his car. Who knows!

I've beaten a few cars that should've killed me, and have lost to a few that i shouldn't have!

His is That Green Blacked out..(soon) We just dont know the Color name...(although the time it took me to Type this message i could have found the colors on google...)

Probably, he used to own a 50 trim srt-4 put he sold it. Now he has that Trans. Theirs been some talks about him racing and having this and that and typical racing drama when he had his srt4, but i never knew I just heard about it from word of mouth, every one knows how that goes.
