Default Ran into a WS6 Firebird...

Well this kid pulls up to me tonightn on I-4 and we have the entire interstate to ourselves. When he pulled up the first thing that caught my attention was the rediculous amount of glowing gauges. He had a 4-5 inch tac on the dash and only had intentions of racing. So I give him a nod and we slow to 60...then gun it. I had him at my rear tires until we hit 115-120...then he just freaking tooook off. Had to have been nitrous or something. I mean he probably didnt let off till 140. I stopped at 125. I could catch up to talk or anything cuz I had to make my exit, but damn that bitch had some top end.

good run on the t/a. it is funny to see all kinds of drivers that think putting on a wing or even a tach will make your car go faster. there is a guy that has a mustang gt 04 i think, that has a home made wooden wing on it. and he thinks his car will beat anything in town i just laugh at the car every time i see it.

Yeah, if you held him off from 60-115, and he then blows by you that hard, he might of been juicin at the end.

I've done that a few times...getting into a race that's getting a little too close, then flipping the switch, and insuring the win!

Good run though!

my son had a 01 t/a and stock it put down 302rwhp and 330rwtq. it ran a constant 13.1 and 13.2. he had done several internet mods to his and it made a big difference. but not all cars are the same and run the same. and the dreaded driver mod plays into more races than we really know. again good run and win.

Nice run OP. Lucky you got to run one of those. I've seen a few of them and they never wanted to play. By the way really nice times with the few mods you got in that thing.

Thanks. I have some sticky tires for the track. I really think my hp and tq #'s are a little low, but I dont want to pay to have a dyno tune done until I get CMVD plates and cams. My track times were run at 111 degrees out also.
